The Challenge

LSBU needed students correctly enrolled or re enrolled, with identity checks completed accurately and at pace.

The constraint was the calendar. There were two weeks before enrolment was due to begin, and enrolment is not a deadline that can be moved. Any solution had to be deployed, tested and running before the time critical period started.

The Outcome

Since the work began the agents have handled more than 80,500 cases and saved around 8,050 hours, verifying identity documents automatically and ensuring students are correctly processed during the periods where timing matters most.

The strength of that first deployment led to share code verification being deployed separately, extending the same approach into visa compliance.

Returning students have to be re enrolled inside the same narrow window as new students, on a team already working at capacity. The checks are routine but they cannot be skipped, and a student who is not re enrolled on time cannot start.
