Overview

Charterhouse is one of the UK’s leading independent boarding and day schools, providing an outstanding education for boys and girls aged 13 to 18. Conveniently located close to London and within 50 minutes of both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, the School’s setting encourages pupils to contribute to school life in meaningful ways, and provides a safe community in which to explore and grow.

The Challenge

Administrators were manually comparing applications to attend Charterhouse with their in-house system (ISAMS), sending out reference requests, and linking received references to applicant profiles, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Additionally, retrieving and uploading student test results and SEN reports from the ISEB website to ISAMS added to the workload during a busy period of time for the admissions team.

What We Did

Niico deployed a series of bots to streamline the integration of various processes and data systems.

  • Bot1 compared Charterhouse applications with ISAMS, sent reference requests to schools, and linked received references to student profiles in the central system.
  • Bot2 retrieved and uploaded student test results and SEN reports from the ISEB website to ISAMS.

Overall, these bots were developed to efficiently handle the complex workflows involved in managing student data. After seeing these improvements, Charterhouse moved forward with creating their Data Deletion BOT.
